Hemp in Avalon was set up by Free Love Cannabis 10 years ago in his effort to make more people aware of the many uses of the Hemp plant. Over the years the store has had a few name changes. It first opened in Spring 97 with the name 'In Harmony with Nature' and had a range of Cannabis seeds, Hemp clothing & accessories, smoking gear and books. In early 2005 Free changed the name to 'Hemp in Avalon' and now stocks a far wider range of Hemp clothing and accessories, Hemp twines and soon a range of Hemp Fabrics. Since Free stopped smoking Cannabis in early 2005 he has greatley reduced the range of smoking paraphanaleia and instead is in the process of setting up a Hemp milk 'Juice bar' where people will be able to come in for a sample of Hemp milk. On the Hemp nutrition side, we stock certified Organic Hemp seed, cold pressed Hemp oil, Hemp leaf tea, and Hemp super foods powdered Hemp leaf and flowers as well as the Yaoh raw Hemp snack bar. We also stock an excellent range of Hemp body care products, Hemp related books and magazines. Since the name change, 'Hemp in Avalon' has become more than just a Hemp store with extensive displays showing the many uses of Hemp.
