IT'S ALL IN THE NUMBERS

Numerologists amongst you may well be
interested to note that next year, 1997,
will be the 69th year of Cannabis
prohibition. To the best of my
knowledge, it will also be 23 years since
the 1971 misuse of Drugs Act came into
force (Cannabis was available on
prescription until 1974). Many people
believe that the numbers 23 and 69 are
very significant. The number 23 being
linked to many coincidental events, while
69 (3x23) takes the form of the Yin
Yang symbol. The Yin and Yang
represents duality, ie all pairs of
opposites within nature, male and female,
black and white, each contain the seed of
the other, and continually turn into each
other, crating order within chaos.

I think that as far as Cannabis is
concerned we are going through a cyclic
phase. When Cannabis was first made
illegal in 1928 not that many people new
much about it. As years passed the social
and environmental damage caused by
this totally immoral law increased. I
believe that we are now coming out of
this negative phase. Less people are
being busted (As a percentage of users)
and more people are realising the planet
saving potential of Cannabis.

I predict that we will soon be entering
into a positive phase. Once Cannabis is
fully utilised to it's maximum potential
our present environmental crisis will
diminish and a new order will be created
from the chaos that currently surround us.

The future is unwritten but through our
actions we can influence change. Positivity
from negativity. Believe it. Do it.

I just want to say it' unfortunate to see all this attention being placed on how strong
Cannabis smells, what 'name' it has or how stoned you get. Whatever happened to the
high ?*?!, the inspiration, the laughs ... I think it would be wonderful for all the people,
planet and this plant if Cannabis users put a little bit more care, love and gratitude back
into this gift of nature All Cannabis growers know that you get a much better high of
your own herb than some commercially produced skunkweed, so why do so few
Cannabis users grow their own? It is easy to grow and the chance of getting caught is
minimal if you are careful. Wouldn't it be great if we all grew enough Cannabis to give
to each other, and especially those who need it for health benefits.
