As a protest against 68 years of Cannabis
Prohibition, Rob Christopher of the
Cannabis Hemp Information Club and
former international Cannabis Smuggler,
Howard Marks, distributed free Cannabis
from Speakers Comer in Hyde Park.

They then made their way to Marylebone

Police Station to offer themselves for arrest.

No arrests were made.

LAWS BASED ON LIES

Cannabis was first made illegal in Britain on September 28^th 1928. The laws were based upon claims made by Egyptian and Turkish delegates at the 1924 Geneva Opiates conference that the use of Cannabis led to the breakdown of all bodily functions and eventually to insanity. These claims were based on hear say and have since been discredited.
